Welcome to my research website and blog! Here, you will find information on my work and related topics.

In August of 2008, I joined the lab of Dr. Vince Resh at UC Berkeley to study biological monitoring of freshwater ecosystems. When I started, I had no idea just how much I would grow to love aquatic insects, especially dragonflies. My research now broadly explores the effects of land use and climate change on dragonfly communities over the past century in California. I am particularly interested in using historical records, such as museum specimens, field notebooks, and published documents, to determine how communities have changed over time.
